The event took place under unusually hot weather. The Crazy Dancers Praha SDC was represented by Viola and Zdeněk.

Traditional event at the end of the dance season. This time the weather was relatively favorable and torrential rain stopped shortly before the beginning. We also celebrated just married Kačka and Martin.

After the end of this year's last regular dancing we met at our favorite pub to have a good time and to wish each other a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Everybody got a small christmass gift.
Among them we could listen to a fairy-tale written and performed by Tom Daněk.
    Pour Féliciter 2016 !!!
  • Crazy weekend -- October 23-25, 2015
This year our traditional all-club meeting occured in the tourist hostel U Pipalů in Červená Řečice. This lovely litle town welcomed those who came with sunny autumn colors. Better participation was prevented mostly by an October viremia mowing whole families. Keeping all them in memory we enjoyed two days full of trips, whether to Kámen, Želiv, Pelhřimov or just local woods. We rode the narrow-gauge railway and tasted venison dishes or beer from the monastery brewery. The usual entertainment such as board games and geocaching could not be omitted.
+ Nice autumn weather, warm lounge atmosphere and relaxing trips
    - Reduced participation because of autumn viral diseases
  • XIV. Hornický šachťák (Ostrava - Dubina) -- January 16-18, 2015
traditionally did not disappoint: dancing for all programs, Central Mine Rescue Station, interesting events and afterparty. In the ranking of the participating clubs we took the second place with 16+1 participants just behind Carolina Bratislava (20) and even before the almost local club: Cloverleaf Opava. Especially the hall "Rubání (Bench mining)" was permanently crowded (Plus, A1). Just the weather was unusual: it rather tempted to walk in the nearby woods Bělský than to dancing.
We are already looking forward to the 15th Šachťák.
  • Libínské Sedlo near Prachatice -- October 24-28, 2014
The members of our club with their families went to the traditional trip, this autumn in the Bohemian Forest.
They undertook various types of excursions to Libin, Kratochvíle and Boubin, one evening was dedicated to board games and singing with guitars and violins.
    + A large number of participants - a total of 21 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs
    + Indian restaurant in Prachatice
    + Nice weather
  • 2014 Graduation -- June 9, 2014
After three years again, our new and some even more experienced dancers of the Mainstream program finally happened to get graduated. A challenging knowledge test with dignified ceremony was completed under the supervision of our club callers Doug and Kačka, diploma, guest book and memorial dangle received by:
Ála, Anička, Eva, Hanka, Terezka, Viola, Martin, Mirek, Petr and Michal
  • XIII. Hornický šachťák (Ostrava - Dubina) -- January 17-19, 2014
The traditional event in Ostrava fulfilled the expectations of large groups of Crazy Dancers. It counted 14 members which was enough to become the third largest participating club! We took part in all dancing programs. We even had three students of this year's class in the Easy Basic sessions. Others danced Mainstream, Plus, mostly A1 and some of us attended even A2 or Round dance. It was a hilarious event.
  • Pre-Christmass garlic soup at U Kašpara -- December 16, 2013
After the end of this year's last regular dancing we met at our favorite pub to have a good time and to wish each other a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Pour Féliciter 2014 !!!
  • Dancing on the Křinec castle. -- September 21, 2013
This was an excellent dancing event. Those who came (some even from far away), certainly took back home great afterthoughts not only about dancing, but also about the tour through the castle, saxophone performance and perhaps about lots of different goodies in the snack bar. Those who did not came have a bad luck, but it's their own fault.
    More pictures on Kačka's Facebook.
  • Řáholecký rynek -- August 23-25, 2013
    Jičín
  • Rocky Docky Special -- August 17-18, 2013
    Waldershof

  • Crazy weekend, Deštné v O. h. -- October 19-21, 2012
Friday evening we spent with guitar, violin, songs and games. The next two days were mostly touristic (Velká Deštná, Šerlich, Vrchmezí, Sedloňov ...) with BBQ on Saturday evening. Thanks to inverse weather it was an unbelievably beautiful autumn weekend, unfortunately terminated by the shocking return to foggy and rainy Prague.
  • PAC, Prague, Postupická high school -- March 23-25, 2012
Several members of Crazy Dancers took part in a traditional event with higher Square Dance programs. An unusually fine weather after the lunch lured many of us for walk around the pond Hamerský. We had ice cream, basked in the sun and then returned to repeat Plus and to the A1 training.
  • Our club hosted a four-member visit from England. -- February 27, 2012
This is why we decided to bring a camera and take some pictures to document "normal" life of the club. We dance, we entertain and as in every year we support our students in order they feel well with us, just like the visitors did. The goal is to make our newbies to fit between us as well as make them happy to spend Monday dance evenings with us regardless of anyone's current level of dancing skill.
  • Veselý mlýn, Potočná u Nové Bystřice -- October 14-16, 2011
After the Giant Mountains and the Ore Mountains this time we headed south into the Czech Canada. Despite the fact that some of originally applied people at the last minute could not go with us, we managed to fill most of the residential area of the old mill. Although the age of the participants was a cross-section of all generations, from grandmothers to toddlers, no one was definitely bored. Outdoor trips with identifying, picking mushrooms and stops at the animals pleased everybody. BBQ with sausages, bread and apples tasted perfectly. The lulaby fairy tale about little bears was preferred perhaps by adults rather than by children who better enjoyed flying kites on Sunday. We were playing desktop games late into the night and together with the experiences of non-traditional accommodation, with trip to the castle of Jindřichův Hradec, with the visit to a Cimrman's pub, with refueling rum on a petrol station, all this accompanied by the beautiful autumn weather and blue skies, there left nothing to complain about.
  • Graduation 2011 -- September 26, 2011
After quite a long time, our new and some even more experienced dancers of the Mainstream program finally happened to get graduated. Dignified ceremony was completed, diploma, guest book and memorial dangle received by:
Alenka, Erika, Hanka, Jirka, Karolína, Vlasta, Zdeněk and Zuzka.
  • 20th birthsday of the Cloverleaf club at the castle of Hradec nad Moravicí -- September 16-17, 2011
Another one in a row of successful distant trips. Eight club members not only enjoyed dancing and talking with friends, but also thebackground of beautiful castle, it's night tours, walks in the park and to anyone's greater or lesser extent, visits and searchesof the surrounding sights - natural and cultural, then all the beautiful weather. What more could one want? A simply hilarious event.
  • Rocky Docky Special, Waldershof -- August 13, 2011
  • Johnny Preston in Prague -- June 15, 2011
A beautiful evening spent with a perfect American caller. Almost all active members of the club attended (see photo)
  • Double event by the PBTK and SD4fun clubs, Lützen -- April 16, 2011
A very interesting afternoon event with the possibility to obtain two dangles. Also a valuble experience with different german callers.
  • CSCTA Convention Třeboň -- April 8-10, 2011
Nearly a half of Crazy Dancers (12 people) found time for the weekend and set off together to the Convention in Trebon. This was our student's first big event and we all were wishing them to have nice impressions and new experience from the event. And this really happened so. Although the people were scattered over several buildings, club members managed to support their new club caller (Kačka) and at least they went together for lunch and dinner.
Highlights: traveling to Trebon in a traffic jam (nobody escaped), Kačka's first short call on a big event, lot of dancing and few time for fish soup.
  • Hornický Šachťák (Ostrava-Dubina) -- January 14-16, 2011
With significantly less headcounte than last year (only three dancers + caller), we again went to Ostrava. In addition to dancing and to everything what traditionally belongs to it in Ostrava, (including Saturday's dramatic entry) this year we have experienced even a wedding ceremony.
  • Christmas Crazy dancing in Žilina. -- December 11, 2010
The restaurant of the Žilina guesthouse cooks very well. Some photos are here.
  • Santa's Join Promenade, Sokolov -- December 8, 2010
Very intimate "Men Ride" (only four Crazy boys came, including the caller) but a very pleasant evening. Some photos here.
  • Archa - Pernink in Ore Mountains -- October 8-10, 2010
More than twenty-two adults, 4 children and one dog gathered in Pernink in the Ore Mountains to spend together a beautiful autumn weekend (and the weather was really a success!). It was great - a trip by train, climbing the observation towers in Blatná and Tisová, flying kites (with a slight lack of wind, but still great), marshes, views, and the Ice Wolf Pit, rope center Andělská hora and Urban Legends game evening in the club room ...
Thanks to Pešek's for the organization.
  • Rocky Docky Waldershof -- August 21-22, 2010
  • V-klub Plzeň -- August 17, 2010

  • Spring Clubnight in Řevnice -- March 21, 2010
  • Visitor in our club -- February 15, 2010
A surprise visit of a travelling teddy bear from the USA (Las Vegas) on his way from Germany brought a lot of joy to us, so the dancers present took a picture with the bear so that he can remember us.
  • Clubnight at Blueberry in České Budějovice -- February 10, 2010
As few as three days were enough to plan the "it's now or never" trip to České Budějovice. Although we did not choose the best weather for travelling, we do not feel bad about the trip. Nine club members were dancing calls of three callers (one after another). The banner of the hosting club was forgotten at home but we still hope that the dancers will repay our visit one day.
Highlights: snow-storm during the whole evening and night, nice dance place and pleasant gathering with local dancers at the Metropol restaurant...
  • Clubnight at Country Farrow in Prague -- January 21, 2010
A record-breaking number of Crazy Dancers took part at the Country Farrow clubnight. We were twelve in total and we spent more than two hours of very pleasant dancing in a slightly overcrowded gym. We were entertained by three callers and the program of that evening was lowered mostly to Mainstream so that we all could join the squares.
Highlights: dangles with an angel, Country Farrow banner stealing -- thanks a lot...
  • Clubnight at Simple Diamond in Prague -- January 13, 2010
It is not always possible to attend a clubnight as a big group (even though we planned so). Eventually, there were five of us at the Simple Diamond clubnight. We joined the club members and spent a nice January evening with them.
  • Hornický Šachťák (Ostrava-Dubina) -- January 8-10, 2010
Eleven dancers from our club made a trip to Ostrava to attend a very pleasant weekend. The aim was achieved in spite of all obstacles. The difficulties resulted from a snow break calamity (some of us spent as many as 8 hours on their way from Praha to Ostrava). Although there were some problems on the railway as well, all of us came safely. Even though the number of participants at Šachťák was lower than expected due to the flush of snow, the event was a total success (being the first dance ever attended for two dancers from our class), the mood was excellent and we do not regret that we made the trip.
Highlights: delicious offerings of refreshments, the "Cikán, černý cikán" (Gypsy, black gipsy) song, cars cast in ice and the shower in the hotel...
  • Restaurant U Kašpara -- December 21, 2009
The pre-Christmas club party brought high spirits, many small presents and an unexpected number of people who found the time to come and stay in spite of the of this hectic time of year. Most of the members of the club as well as the class came which we found wonderful.
Highlights: delicious garlic soup (with garlic being not very strong), visit by Michal Stránský who arrived from Sweden, visit by Hedvika Baranová who arrived from the Great Britain and farewell of Hanka Zemanová who is leaving to France...
  • Chemnitz -- December 4, 2009
Just before the St. Nicholas Day, a complete square plus the caller (9 Crazy Dancers in total) visited the clubnight of Cinderella SDC Chemnitz. Thanks to the GPS navigation, we found the dance place without any problems and the mood was great. We were feeling as a part of the group since the very first moment and we were getting accustomed to the different pronounciation of local callers slowly. The trip was an absolute success and we even brought the travel banner of Cinderella back to our club.
Highlights: presents from St. Nicholas, warm air in the gym, tiny dancing shoes as dangles, enthusiasm of German dancers during the tip of our caller and the country covered with snow on our way back...
  • Waldershof -- November 21, 2009
One fully-packed car of the Crazy Dancers including the caller made an afternoon-to-night-lasting trip to Waldershof in Germany in order to visit the Wild Bunch in Waldershof. This being the very first experience of dancing abroad for some of us, it exceeded the expectations and we were enjoying the nice and friendly atmosphere together with German dancers and with the guest from Join Promenáda Karlovy Vary.
Highlights: terrible-looking accident of one local dancer, after-party goulash, small presents to our club members...
  • Janské Lázně -- November 13-15, 2009
Several former members of Crazy Dancers as well as current ones spent a "pre-Christmas" weekend together at the Švýcarský dvůr pension in Janské Lázně. We were 18 adults, 7 children and 1 dog in total and we managed to make various walks and trips in groups, we spent the Friday evening playing a wide selection of board games, we did a lot of dancing on Saturday evening - this all adds to the sum of two very pleasant days.
Highlights: wood crackling in the stove, blueberry cake, carrying the baby-pram along the creek, snow on the Černá hora mountain and the last ropeway of the day...
  • First clubnight after the summer -- September 14, 2009
The new dance year 2009/2010 was opened by the Crazy Dancers at the GAPA Sportcentrum, Na Folimance 1, Praha 2 again.
The dancers brought plenty of optimism and they enjoyed the first clubnight together after a long break.
